However, the truth is that the path to this distinction did not start with a formula. It started with an idea.
Here is the story that we have never told before.
It all started with an idea...
It all started in 2022 when we asked ourselves a specific and often overlooked question: how to achieve a faster, more beautiful and long-lasting tan – with less sun exposure and without drying out the skin?
Most products on the market accelerate tanning – simply because they are oily and attract sunlight.
However, we all know that unpleasant feeling of stickiness and heaviness on the skin that they leave!
Then we set ourselves a goal: to create the first tanning oil that visibly accelerates tanning many times more than anything we have tried – while simultaneously moisturizing the skin and leaving no sticky feeling.
We turned to Lydia Krasteva – a master pharmacist with many years of experience and indisputable authority in the Bulgarian cosmetic industry.
Inspired by the look, she accepted the challenge – and we rolled up our sleeves!
From the lab to the beach
We spent months doing lab work and testing.
We read, compare, rummaged through scientific articles and ingredient files, looking for the right combination to work in sync.
After a long and focused work, we came up with a formula that – at least "on paper" – met all our expectations: it was clinically proven to accelerate tanning by up to 2 times, nourished the skin and promised a pleasant sensation with each application.
Before proceeding to production, however, we wanted to convince ourselves and do a real test - a whole season under the sun!
The summer of 2022 was spent in observation, comparison and feedback - from Nicoleta, our team and from the focus group organized by us.
This was our way of making sure that the formula worked not only in a laboratory environment, but also in real conditions.
The results exceeded ALL expectations – the skin darkened significantly faster, remained deeply hydrated and visibly smoother after the first days of use.
This was the oil we dreamed of creating!
